Ways To Prevent:

-Abstaining from sex is the most effective way to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS
-Use clean needles
-Tell your partner if you do have HIV/AIDS
-Being literate about the issue of AIDS is very important- Bogeyehu states that, "Literacy had a strong positive association with HIV transmisson and condoms. He also states that, "Thus due to a generally higher level of literacy (grades 5-8 attainment), very young women (ages 13-20) had better knowledge of HIV transmission and condoms. ( Ethiopian women)
