African-American Women At Risk for HIV/AIDS
You have just found out that you are HIV positive and you are scared and feel alone. Well, there are many ways and resources that can help you deal with your status.  Their are support groups to help you deal with having the disease and that can help with aiding you with ways to tell your partner and family members.  Here are some support clinics:

Ask Us”- HIV/AIDS Support Group for Norfolk Community Services Board (CSB)- A support group for HIV+ persons run by the Norfolk CSB. Only open to CSB clients. Meets every Friday from 10:30-12 noon. Call the CSB at 664-6670 for information.

“Phenomenal Women”- Support group to empower and teach women who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS how to build healthy relations by education, self-esteem building and peer to peer education. Meets at Norfolk Community Health Center, 1401 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk the 4th Monday of the month.  Call Janet Hall at 289-8513 for more information.
